CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAM ORGANIZED FOR ESCO ASSOCIATION

From September 25 to October 4, the ESCO Association members were at a study tour in Prague which was organized by Advanced Engineering Associates International (AEAI) and Academy of Educational Development (AED) with USAID sponsorship.

The Association of Energy Service Companies of Armenia has been established in May 2005 by a group of local ESCOs. The overarching mission of the Association is to promote the efficient use of energy and expanded use of renewable energy resources as a means of promoting both economic prosperity and environmental protection in Armenia. The Association is a forum for its members to share ideas, information and experience and the organizational structure through which ESCOs can raise funds for the implementation of joint projects.
